About Skyhigh CASB for Zoom

Limited Availability: To access the DLP Support for Zoom In-Meeting Chat Messages, contact Skyhigh Support.

Skyhigh CASB for Zoom provides comprehensive security, enabling IT teams to monitor and protect sensitive content in Chat conversations within your organization.

You can integrate Skyhigh CASB with Zoom to monitor risky user activities in Zoom and apply DLP controls to sensitive files or attachments posted in Zoom.

Zoom can be integrated via API using the Settings > Service Management page. For details, see Integrate Zoom.

IMPORTANT: Skyhigh supports integrating the Zoom Custom Granular OAuth application. Use the Custom Granular OAuth application to create a new custom OAuth application. However, the Zoom update does not impact existing Zoom Custom Classic OAuth application users.

Activity Monitoring

Skyhigh CASB integrates with Zoom via API, offering deep insights into user activities across your organization through Activity Monitoring. Security Operations Center (SOC) admins perform a forensic investigation on user activities and automatically detect anomalies. You can monitor Zoom's user activity in the Skyhigh CASB Activity Monitoring page. After integrating with Skyhigh CASB, a few expected Zoom behaviors get noticed. For details, see Known Behaviors of Zoom with Skyhigh CASB.

Data Loss Prevention Control

Skyhigh CASB provides comprehensive DLP controls for Zoom to prevent sensitive data leakage to the Cloud. You can define a variety of DLP policies to capture and block sensitive data posted in any Zoom conversations, whether one-on-one, group chats, or channels.

The following is the list of features supported through DLP controls:

  • Apply DLP policies to messages and chat conversations (one-on-one, group chats, and public/private channels).
  • Apply DLP policies to files uploaded/attached to a message in a chat conversation (one-on-one, group chat, and public/private channels).
  • Apply DLP policies and take remediation actions to detect sensitive content posted in:
    • Conversations with internal and external users, and remove the content.
    • Conversations with internal and external users, and revoke collaboration.
    • The real-time meeting chat with internal and external users, and remove the content.
