Skyhigh Security

Closed-loop Remediation

Skyhigh Security provides you with the ability to integrate Skyhigh CASB with Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (On-Prem) for a unified security framework. The convergence between Skyhigh CASB and Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (On-Prem) solutions provides organizations with enhanced security and governance capabilities, which include Closed-loop Remediation (CLR). Organizations can leverage this convergence feature for enhanced visibility, control, and remediation of shadow cloud services and other security risks.

CLR also known as governance is the process of continuously monitoring, detecting, and remediating security risks and policy violations within an organization. It includes integrating multiple security tools and technologies to provide a comprehensive and automated security approach.

Prerequisites

Before you configure closed-loop remediation, make sure that the following prerequisites are met:

Configure Closed-loop Remediation

To configure CLR, you must first integrate your firewall and proxy devices, service groups, and email summary with Skyhigh Cloud Connector. This allows you to leverage Skyhigh CASB service groups within egress/ingress policies. For details, see Integrating an Edge Device.

NOTE: Once you have integrated the firewall or proxy device on the Firewall/Proxy Integration page, copy the Published URL List of the service group hosted on the Skyhigh Cloud Connector. You can use this URL to configure a web policy in Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (On-Prem). For details, see About Firewall and Proxy Integrations.

IMPORTANT: After integrating your firewall and proxy devices with Skyhigh Cloud Connector, you can configure a web policy in Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (On-Prem) to control the usage of shadow cloud services within your organization. For details, see Manage Shadow Cloud Services via Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (On-Prem).
