CVE Number Search

The CVE number search allows you to search by Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) numbers of publicly known cybersecurity vulnerabilities. This search helps you to view all related data associated with specific vulnerabilities across services, cloud registry items, and resources in your environment.

The CVE number search is available in the Omnibar on the following pages:

You can search for CVE numbers at https://cve.mitre.org/. 

To search by CVE ID number:

  1. In the Omnibar, enter CVE-, and then the specific CVE number. For example, CVE-2015-0310, where 2015 represents the year the vulnerability was registered, and 0310 represents a unique ID for the specific vulnerability.
  2. Under Keyword Search, select CVE-2015-0310 in CVE Number.

  3. The search runs, and the results are displayed.
