Optimize User Login

The Chromium-based web browsers introduced storage partitioning and communications APIs in third-party contexts to prevent certain types of side-channel cross-site tracking. This change imposes cross-domain restrictions within the browser. As a result, the login workflow may not function as expected when using Chrome or Edge browsers to access the product. To address this limitation, Trellix and Skyhigh are collectively optimizing the user login on November 18, 2024.

Post-Deployment Behavior

After deployment on November 18, 2024, the Trellix and Skyhigh environments will operate independently. For example, if you have both Trellix and Skyhigh instances open simultaneously and log out of Trellix, you will remain logged in to the Skyhigh environment. Using one of the environment, Trellix or Skyhigh, will not have any impact on the user experience.

Re-login prompt on the same browser tab

After logging out, if you attempt to log back into the Skyhigh console (Dashboard) using the same browser tab, you may have to enter the credentials again.

NOTE: This issue does not affect users using Single Sign-On (SSO).

Skyhigh recommends that users access the Dashboard through the launchpad URL: auth.ui.trellix.com.

Blue screen error

A blue screen appears when you select the Skyhigh product on the product selection page.

Skyhigh recommends clearing the cache or deleting cookies. Follow the steps below to delete cookies:

  1. Right click, and then select Inspect.
  2. Select Application tab.
  3. On the Storage section, select Cookies.
  4. Select the URL: https://dashboard-us.ui.skyhigh.cloud or https://dashboard-eu.ui.skyhigh.cloud from the list.
  5. Filter by IAM.
  6. From the filtered results, delete cookie with name iam:t_id.  To delete the cookie, you must select the cookie, right click, and then click Delete.
  7.  Refresh the browser.
