Assign Users to the Application in an Okta IdP

After establishing a connection between SCIM and Skyhigh, add users to the Skyhigh SSE SCIM-enabled application. After adding users to the SCIM application, the users are displayed on the Skyhigh User Management > Users and Roles > Users tab.

To add a user to the Skyhigh SSE SCIM-enabled application, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Okta dashboard.
  2. Click Admin.
  3. On the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications, and select the Skyhigh SSE SCIM-enabled application to which you would like to add the user.

  4. From your application, select the Assignments tab.
  5. From the Assign menu, select Assign to People.

  6. On the Assign to People page, search for the user and then click Assign.

    When you click Assign, the Assign to People page lists user details with Username, Given name, and so on.
     
  7. Click Save and Go Back.

You can now see the newly added user in your application.

To view the SCIM-provisioned users, log in to the Skyhigh Dashboard > Settings > User Management > Users and Roles > select the Users tab. The user will be in a zero-access state, and you cannot edit the roles and permissions for the SCIM-provisioned individual user. However, you can edit the toggle button to activate or deactivate the user and assign jurisdictions. To know more about jurisdiction details, see About Data Jurisdictions.
