Applying Setup and Web Policy Changes Globally

To apply locally saved changes to your Secure Web Gateway setup or web policy globally, you must publish them to the cloud, where they are saved in the Global Policy Store.

As you set up Secure Web Gateway or configure your web policy, the changes you make are saved locally to a database. The yellow color of the publish shield on the user interface indicates that you have locally saved changes to publish.

After clicking the shield, a task bar is inserted with the following options:

• Publish — Publish locally saved changes to the cloud

• Discard — Discard locally saved changes

• Review changes — Review the locally saved changes before publishing or discarding them
