View Connectivity Status
On the connectivity page, you can see the real-time status of your IPSec tunnels, update configurations as needed, and view details about Source Subnets.
To view and edit location configurations, manage IP mapping for tunnels, configure settings for IPSec and view error logs along with troubleshooting steps for IPsec error codes, go to Analytics > Connectivity. You can find the following information on the Connectivity page:
- IPSec Tunnel Table: This table displays IPSec tunnel status information in real time.
NOTE: There may be a latency of up to 10 minutes in data retrieval.
- Filters: You can now filter and categorize your search by the status of IPSec tunnels.
- Status: Displays the IPSec tunnel connection state (Up, Failed, Down, Disabled). Status is visually indicated using color codes:
- Up - Green
- Failed - Red
- Down - Red
- Disabled - Grey
- Name: Displays name of the location.
- Initiator: Displays the initiator's IP address.
The public IP address of the third-party VPN device used for your network's VPN configuration, is captured here. - Source Subnets: Indicates the count and status of associated subnets: green for connected subnets and red for disconnected subnets.
- Subnet: Displays the subnet IP address
- Encryption Algorithm: This shows the encryption algorithm used for this specific subnet
- Bytes In: Total inbound data for the subnet
- Bytes Out: Total outbound data for the subnet
- Packets In: Total number of inbound packets
- Packets Out: Total number of outbound packets
- Skyhigh Pop: Depicts the number of Skyhigh POPs the remote device is connected to.
- Encryption Algorithm: Displays the encryption algorithm for the IKE communication.
- Tunnel Uptime/Downtime: The duration for which the tunnel has been connected or disconnected.
- Throughput: Displays the tunnel's data transmission rate measured in bytes per minute.
- Total Bytes In: Shows inbound data transfer.
- Total Bytes Out: Shows outbound data transfer.
Total Bytes and Total packets are the total data transferred to and from the tunnel since the time it was created and established. - Refresh: Refresh the Connectivity page and pulls data for last one minute.
- Actions:
- View/Edit Configuration: Allows you to view or modify tunnel settings. This will open the configuration page, where you can set up IPsec Mapping.
- View Error Log: Provides access to error logs for failed or down tunnels. When you click View Error Codes, you can identify and more easily remediate IPsec tunnel issues with our enhanced error logs and detailed troubleshooting guide. For more details, see Troubleshoot IPSec Tunnel issues with Error Codes.
- Error Code: Displays the error code
- Error Message: Shows a detailed description of the error
- Timestamp: Date and time when the error occurred
- Actions Drop-down: In the Actions drop-down menu, you will find the following options:
- Configure Location: You can configure a new location for the IPSec tunnel.
- Edit Table Columns: Customize the table view by selecting the desired columns. Please note that any changes made to the table settings will only be saved for the current user session. When you log out, the table settings will revert to default.
