Configure Ruleset with Custom Egress IP Available

The user requires verification of their egress IP's availability at the designated POP. The system determines the availability of the user's custom egress IP at this POP, yielding a Boolean result indicating its availability (true) or unavailability (false).

To configure the web gateway rule set with Custom Egress IP Available: 

1. On the user interface for Secure Web Gateway, select Policy > Web Policy > Policy.

2. Click New Ruleset.
   

3. You can create a Ruleset using Custom ruleset and Library ruleset. Click Custom ruleset.
   

4. . Enter the Name for the ruleset. Select Custom Egress IP Available from the list of criteria.
   

5. Click Select Value. Custom Egress IP Available pane appears with Boolean value.
   

6. Select true if the egress IP is available on the specified POP, or false if the egress IP is unavailable and you want to route through the next hop proxy.
   
7. Click Done.

The custom egress IP is configured to yield a boolean result indicating its availability (true) or unavailability (false).
