Back Up Your Configuration
You can back up a web policy configuration on Secure Web Gateway in a file where you save this configuration.
Later on, you can use the backup file to restore the configuration that you have saved on Secure Web Gateway.
The configuration that you save in the backup file includes your web policy settings, feature configurations, list catalog, and end user notification templates.
-
On the user interface for Secure Web Gateway, place your mouse pointer over the settings icon in the top right corner, then select Infrastructure > Web Gateway Setup from the drop-down menus.
-
On the setup main page, scroll down to Backup and Restore Secure Web Gateway and click Backup.
-
On the Backup Secure Web Gateway page, type a password for the backup file and confirm it.
-
Click the page anywhere outside the two input fields for setting a password.
The Download Backup button at the bottom of the page is activated.
NOTE: DLP classifications and Service Groups will not be included in the backup.
-
Click Download Backup, then use the file manager that opens to browse to a location on your system to store the backup file that has been created.
You can now use this file to restore the saved web policy configuration on Secure Web Gateway, see Restore Your Web Policy from a Backup File.
