Customize Default Error Handler
Skyhigh provides the option to customize the Error Handler configuration to meet specific requirements. The Error Handler manages errors that occur during web traffic processing, particularly during file scanning and content inspection. It offers functionality similar to Policy Rulesets. If needed, multiple Error Handlers can be configured. You can add the Custom Rule Set to the default or new error handler.
To add a Custom Rule Set to the Error handler :
- Go to Policy > Web Policy > Error Handler > Default Error Handler.
- Click the three-dot (
) icon and select Custom.

A new Custom Rule Set is added.
- Enter the Rule Set Name for the custom rule.
- Select the required Criteria.

- Turn on the toggle to enable the Rule Set
- Click the yellow badge to save and publish the changes.
The Custom Error Handler rule set is now created. Based on the configured policy, it manages error conditions during web traffic processing. You can also drag and drop the Custom Error Handler rule set to the parent level for broader application.
