Troubleshoot Reddit Access (403 Response)
When you access Reddit through the Skyhigh Security Web Proxy PoPs, it triggers a 403 HTTP response. Reddit blocks the request and displays this message:
"You've been blocked by network security.
To continue, log in to your Reddit account or use your developer token
If you think you've been blocked by mistake, file a ticket below and we'll look into it."
Reddit’s Botnet/Scraper detection blocks Skyhigh proxy IP addresses, including recent reports of blocks in the 131.229.128.0/17 range. Use the workaround below until the issue is fixed.
Workaround
To access Reddit, either sign in at https://www.reddit.com/login/ or configure a bypass for reddit.com. Set the bypass in the SCP domain-bypass settings or via a PAC file (depending on how your traffic is forwarded to the Cloud proxy) so requests to reddit.com are routed directly.
