The Classifications Detail Card provides the following information:

  1. The Classification Quick stats provide:
    • Total Objects. The total number of objects identified within the selected classification. The data count will vary based on the selected filter.
    • Services. The total number of services using this classification.
    • Users. The total number of users associated with this classification.
    • Total Data. The total volume of the data discovered within this classification. The data count will vary based on the selected filter.
  2. The specific information on the services and users who interacted with sensitive data, along with an overview of object information, is seen on the following tabs:

Overview Tab

This section provides a detailed analysis of object distribution categorized by risk level, file type, and size. This information is essential for effective object management and risk assessment, helping to pinpoint potential security weaknesses and optimize storage. The data displayed within this section is dynamically updated based on the selected classification, providing a tailored perspective.

Key metrics include:

  • Object Risk Distribution. The breakdown of the aggregated number of files at risk for the selected classification, along with the risk deviations categorized by High Risks (red), Medium Risks (yellow), and Low Risks (green), with their respective file counts. For more details on Object Risk, see Understand the Data Risk Calculations.
  • Distribution by Object Type. The percentage distribution of various object types within the dataset includes Document, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Archive and other categories.
  • Distribution by Object Size (MB). The distribution of files based on size and the number of files corresponding to each size.

Services Tab

This section provides information on both the volume and risk distribution of data objects across various services. This analysis is crucial for gaining deep insights into the precise location of sensitive data, thereby facilitating the identification of vulnerabilities within specific applications and services. The data displayed within this section is dynamically updated based on the selected classification, providing a tailored perspective.

The Top 20 Services table provides:

  • View all. Click to view all services utilizing this classification in the Services tab.
  • Service. The name of the service to which a particular classification is applied.
  • Object Risk. The risk distribution of objects within the service where this classification is applied. For more details on Object Risk, see Understand the Data Risk Calculations.
  • Total Objects. The count of objects discovered within a service for the specified classification. The data count will vary based on the selected filter.
  • Total Data. The total volume of the data discovered within the service for the specified classification. The data count will vary based on the selected filter.
  • Sub-Category. The Cloud Registry category for the service to which a particular classification is applied.

Users Tab

This section provides a comprehensive overview of user activity, meticulously analyzed across several critical dimensions. Users are categorized and presented based on: risk distribution of accessed objects, utilization of services that the users have interacted with, and total volume and distribution of accessed object data. The administrators can refine their view to focus on specific classifications. This granular filtering capability allows for highly targeted analysis and more effective decision-making regarding user management. The data displayed within this section is dynamically updated based on the selected classification, providing a tailored perspective.

The Top 20 Users table provides:

  • View all. Click to view all users utilizing this classification in the Users tab.
  • User. The name of the user associated with this classification.
  • Object Risk. The risk distribution of the object for the particular user to whom this classification is applied. For more details on Object Risk, see Understand the Data Risk Calculations.
  • Total Objects. The total count of all data objects accessible to a particular user under the selected classification. The data count will vary based on the selected filter.
  • Total Data. The total volume of data accessible to the user. The data count will vary based on the selected filter.
  • Last Observed. The date and time when the user was last identified as being at risk for the selected classification.
