Disable the Data Explorer Data Feed

You can turn off the data feed to discontinue real-time updates or to generate a detailed report for a specific date range.

To disable the Data Explorer Data Feed:

  1.  On the Data Explorer dashboard, click Data Settings.

    The Data Explorer Settings pop-up appears.
  2. Turn off the Toggle data feed button and click Save.

    The data feed is disabled. The Data feed has been disabled Alert banner is displayed at the bottom.

NOTE: Disabling the data feed does not affect dashboard functionality. You can still access processed data, and a banner at the top will indicate the timestamp of the final data sync.

Re-enable the Data Explorer Data Feed

If you prefer to resume live monitoring, Skyhigh CASB allows you to re-enable the data feed at any time to continue receiving real-time updates.

  1. To re-enable the data feed, on the Data Explorer dashboard, click Data Settings.

  2. Turn on the Toggle data feed button and click Save.

    The Data Explorer Data Feed is enabled.
  3. (Optional) Leave the toggle button as is and click Cancel if you want no changes.
