Enable the Data Explorer Data Feed

Data Explorer is a centralized analytics dashboard that gives all the critical, at-a-glance information you need about your organization’s data. It shows you your riskiest data assets, and allows you to filter and query sensitive data, drill into all discovered data objects or files, investigate associated risks, and find where a specific type of sensitive data resides. For example, enterprises would like to know where all their PCI / HIPAA data is located. This helps them adhere to Data Security standards and ensure compliance. To achieve this, once you avail the additional entitlement of Data Explorer, you have to configure your product to Enable the Data Explorer Data Feed.

To enable the Data Explorer Data Feed:

1. Log in to Skyhigh CASB and go to Analytics > DSPM Data Explorer.
   The Enable Data Explorer Data Feed page opens. 
2. Perform the prerequisite steps 1 and 2 as instructed in the UI.
3. In the Enable the data feed for Data Explorer step, turn on the toggle button to enable the feed. This enables Data Explorer to retrieve the organization's data based on the policy defined and generate data analytics for the predefined parameters.

4. Click Check for data. 
   The Data Explorer retrieves data and displays it in a predefined (table or chart) format.
