Limitations of Data Explorer
| Limited Availability: To access DSPM Data Explorer, contact Skyhigh Support. |
- ► Missing User Information for Certain CSP Objects
- You may not find user information for Objects belonging to certain Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).
- ► Search with spaces or non-alphanumeric characters in DSPM Data Explorer Filters
- The Data Explorer filters allow powerful data searching. However, a current limitation prevents searching with spaces or non-alphanumeric characters. For example, searching for “US PII” in the classifications filter will not yield any results.
- ► Incorrect Aggregation of Objects
- For some Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), under certain conditions, only the filename is used to identify the file. This can lead to incorrect aggregation of records.
- ► DSPM permissions are not automatically granted to new customers
-
When a new customer purchases Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), the primary user is not automatically granted the necessary permissions to access Data Explorer. The permissions must be manually assigned on the User Settings page by following these steps:
- Go to the trial Create User page.
- Create a tenant user from the trial user, providing all necessary information, and ensuring the DSPM license is selected.
- Click Submit.
- Check the email provided during user creation for the activation mail and click the Activation button.
- Set a password and click Submit.
- Log in to the dashboard using the valid credentials.
- Select the appropriate product.
- Go to the User Settings page, select the user and assign the DSPM Management permission, and click Save.
