Static Routes settings
The Static Routes settings are used for configuring routes that always use the same gateway and interface on this gateway when web traffic is routed from an appliance to a particular host.
NOTE: Adding a static route through the SWG Management UI triggers a network service restart to apply the change. This expected behavior may briefly disrupt connectivity, including temporary access loss or dropped sessions.
Skyhigh recommends performing such routing changes during a planned maintenance window and validating any modifications that affect critical traffic paths to avoid unintended impact.

Source-based routing
Settings for source-based routing under IPv4 or IPv6
Source-based routing
Option | Definition |
---|---|
Source-based routing for IPv4 | When selected, source-based routing is performed under IPv4. |
Source-based routing for IPv6 | When selected, source-based routing is performed under IPv6. |
