About Reimaging the Appliance Software with a Disk Tool

The appliance software on a Secure Web Gateway appliance can be reimaged using the mwg-edisk tool, which writes a software image to an embedded hardware device. This might be needed to recover an appliance after a disruption has happened.

The reimaging can be performed for the model E and F appliances, which are equipped with suitable devices.

You can use the tool if the version of the the Secure Web Gateway appliance software you are running is 8.2.8 or higher.
