Troubleshooting an Issue with IP Addresses for Network Interfaces
Configuring network interfaces for a Secure Web Gateway appliance includes assigning an IP address to each of them. You can configure network interfaces for different purposes, for example, for handling user interface traffic. The IP address for this network interface is then used to connect to the user interface.
The following issue with an IP address for user interface traffic has been observed: After changing this IP address, it was not possible to connect to the user interface anymore.
As a workaround, you can restart the user interface using the command line interpreter (CLI) on a system console that you connect to Secure Web Gateway. Use mwg-ui to reference the user interface in the CLI command.
After the restart, the changed IP address works as expected when connecting to the user interface.
