About this Release
This release includes enhancements to parsing, JavaScript emulation, and inline malware protection with the GAM v8000 engine, along with bug fixes and performance improvements.
Enhancements
- Enhanced inline malware protection with more context-aware classification of malicious HTML pages, and attack techniques as per MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Adds parsing support for Windows executables containing .NET bytecode and enhances JavaScript emulation for Browser DOM with better handling of large scripts, including popular frameworks.
- GAM v8000 now validates the URL before running a Behavior Analysis scan.
- Multi-engine detections will now use AV signature names instead of behavior-based names, with no impact on detection accuracy.
