About Skyhigh Client Connectivity Status
This topic describes the key highlights of the Skyhigh Client application installed on the endpoint. This helps end-users to view and track the connectivity status of the Client with SSE products.
The Skyhigh Client UI consists of the following tabs:
Home
The Home tab provides a high-level status summary displaying both statuses and sub-statuses for the following services:
- Skyhigh Client. Installed on endpoints (laptops), with statuses indicating whether the user's device is successfully connected to the security platform, policy enforcement is active, and if the client itself is healthy.
- Secure Web Gateway. Responsible for inspecting, filtering, and controlling web traffic. Its status reflects the health of web filtering, anti-malware scanning, URL categorization, and policy enforcement for internet-bound traffic.
- Private Access. Implements Zero Trust Network Access, providing secure, least-privilege access to private applications without requiring a traditional VPN. Its status shows if the secure tunnels and access controls are operational.
- Cloud Firewall. This service typically provides network security controls for cloud environments, managing traffic flow, and enforcing policies at the network layer. Its status reflects the health and effectiveness of network-level security rules.
Status Types:
- Secure. Indicates that a safe and successful connection is established.
- Warning. Indicates a minor issue that needs attention but doesn't affect the service.
- Error. Indicates a critical problem where the service is not working.
- Disabled. Indicates that the service is turned off and is not running.
Each sub-status provides additional insight into the specific condition or behaviour of the associated service.

Client Overview
This tab displays detailed information about the Skyhigh Client, including version, policy name, revision number, and last policy update.

Connectivity
The Connectivity tab presents detailed insights for the following configured services.
- Secure Web Gateway
Displays the detailed status of configured web gateways.

- Private Access
Displays current status and provides a link to the PA dashboard, if available.

- Cloud Firewall
Displays details and status of Cloud Firewall configurations. A Secure status on the Cloud Firewall indicates the license is active, independent of whether the tunnel connection has been completed.

Log Capture
The Log Capture tab helps to initiate and manage log collection from the Client, aiding in troubleshooting and support scenarios.
There are two modes of log capture:
- Admin mode: Collects all Skyhigh Client logs when the Support Tool is run.
- Non-Admin mode (enabled by default): Collects most logs, excluding SysCore, Network, and Registry-related data.

Disable Client
The Disable Client tab enables the user to disable the Client for a specific time upon entering the release code received from the admin.
