Tamper Protection for Windows

Using tamper protection, you can restrict users from directly uninstalling the Skyhigh Client software and its registry entries.

To enable tamper protection for Windows:

  1. Navigate to Policy > Skyhigh Client > Configuration
  2. From the Settings list, select Client Profile.
  3. Select a profile from the list of profiles.
  4. Click the General Settings tab:

      1. Access Protection. When you enable this option, users cannot disable the client software using Windows Task Manager, edit or delete files, or change registry values.
      2. Uninstall Protection. When you enable this option, users must request a release code to uninstall the Skyhigh Client software.
      3. Click Save.
    2. Administrator Uninstall Code
Generate an administrator uninstallation code to remove the Skyhigh Client from your endpoint.
