Disable Client
You can generate an individual code or a primary release code for an end user who needs to disable the Skyhigh Client policy temporarily.
To disable the Client:
- Navigate to Policy > Skyhigh Client > Configuration.
- On the Client Configuration page, select Tools > Disable Client

- In the Identification/Release Code field:
- For an individual user:
- End User ID code: Selecting this option generates a disable key that enables an end user to temporarily disable the Skyhigh Client policy:
- End User Name. Enter the name provided by the user.
- End User Email Address. Enter the email address provided by the user.
- End User Device Name (Optional). Enter the computer name provided by the user.
- Business Justification. Enter the approved business reason provided by the user to suspend policy enforcement.
- Policy Revision Number. Enter the policy revision number provided by the user.
- Client Disable Duration. Select the duration from the drop-down ranging from 5 minutes to 30 days.
- End User ID code: Selecting this option generates a disable key that enables an end user to temporarily disable the Skyhigh Client policy:
- For a user group:
- Global Release Code: Selecting this option generates a bypass key that enables a user group to temporarily bypass a specific Skyhigh Client policy:
- Business Justification. Enter the approved business reason to suspend policy enforcement.
- Policy Revision Number. Enter the policy revision number.
- Global Release Code: Selecting this option generates a bypass key that enables a user group to temporarily bypass a specific Skyhigh Client policy:
- For an individual user:
- Click Generate Key.
The key is generated.
