Download a Client Policy

You can download a policy or all policies from the following tabs to retain the configuration and reuse it to define similar policies. The downloaded policy is in the OPG format.

Getting Started tab. You can download All Policies.
Policy tab. You can download the Current Policy or All Policies.

NOTE: Publish the policies (new or modified) before downloading to save the latest policy.

Download All Policies from the Getting Started tab

All Policies

Go to Policy > Skyhigh Client > Policy > Getting Started.
1. On the Getting Started tab, click Download and select All Policies.
  
  ► Case 1: When all the policies are published
  
  The Download All Client Policies pop-up displays.
  a. Click Done.
  
  All policies are downloaded in OPG format.
  
  ► Case 2: When one or more policies are unpublished
  
  The Download All Client Policies pop-up displays with an error message.
  
  a. Case 2.1: To continue downloading only the published policies, click Download Anyway.
  
  The policy downloads.
  Click Done.
  
  b. Case 2.2: To download all the policies, click Cancel.
  
  Publish the unpublished policies by referring to the Publish a Client Policy section and repeating the steps of this section, starting with 1.

Download the Current Policy or All Policies from the Policy tab

Go to Policy > Skyhigh Client > Policy.
From the policy tree, select a policy.
From the Download drop-down:

Current Policy

Select Current Policy.

► Case 1: When the current policy is published

The Download Client Policy pop-up displays.

Click Done.

The current policy is downloaded in OPG format.

► Case 2: When the current policy is unpublished

The Download Client Policy pop-up displays with an error message.

Click Done and publish the policy by referring to the Publish a Client Policy section. Once published, download the policy by repeating the steps of this section, starting with 1.

All Policies

Select All Policies.

► Case 1: When all the policies are published

a. Click Done.

All policies are downloaded in OPG format.

► Case 2: When one or more policies are unpublished

Case 2.1: To continue downloading only the published policies, click Download Anyway.

The policy downloads.
Click Done.
Case 2.2: To download all the policies, click Cancel.

Publish the unpublished policies by referring to the Publish a Client Policy section and repeating the steps of this section, starting with 1.

Once you have downloaded the policy, you can deploy it to the endpoints using the available deployment methods.
