With work from anywhere being the new normal, organizations are looking for smarter yet flexible ways to have command over the internet-bound traffic. The customers demand more granular control over the way they intend to steer the traffic from the devices. There is a constant need for enhanced visibility into network traffic, alongside improved troubleshooting tools for effective issue resolution. These new-age requirements from the customers propelled the advancement of the Skyhigh Client Proxy to the Skyhigh Client . 

The Skyhigh Client is a significant step towards flexible connectivity. Evolving from the Skyhigh Client Proxy, the Skyhigh Client adds flexibility in traffic selection and steering for both web and non-web traffic. It continues to locally intercept and securely relay network traffic to policy enforcement gateways located either on-premises or in the cloud. Currently, Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (On-Prem and Cloud), Skyhigh Private Access (Cloud Only), and Skyhigh Cloud Firewall (Cloud Only) are integrated with the unified Skyhigh Client. The integration is seamless across all types of deployments - On-Prem, Cloud, or hybrid.  The Skyhigh Client is accessible from Windows and macOS operating systems.

The Skyhigh Client software runs on the devices. Before deploying the software to the devices verify that the devices meet the required hardware and operating system specifications.
