We have released Skyhigh Mobile Cloud Security (SMCS) client version 9.0.7 for Android. This is now available in the Play Store. For more details regarding this release, please see the release notes below.

Maintenance

Skyhigh Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) | US Only | April 6, 2024

Planned maintenance is scheduled to update the core software of our products (backend activity) to optimize the performance and increase the speed of the data processing mechanism during the following time duration:

Anticipated Start: April 6, 2024 (Saturday), 3:30 am UTC

Anticipated End: April 6, 2024 (Saturday), 12:30 pm UTC

Downtime Required: 8 Hours

Service Impact:
- Data processing will be paused during the upgrade window which will result in delaying the availability of activities/events on the Skyhigh Dashboard.
- Service overview, user overview, anomalies pages and corresponding reports will have slower performance during maintenance.

End-of-Life & End-of-Support Notices

Skyhigh Security CASB Data Loss Prevention (Data Identifiers) End-Of-Support | Dec. 31, 2024

Skyhigh Security is moving towards a more advanced and versatile approach using classifications and therefore, will be ending support for our legacy DLP content matching techniques (Data Identifiers) for CASB on December 31, 2024.

In the next few weeks, we will be sending further communication and guidance on how to transition your CASB DLP policies to the new classifications solution. Our Skyhigh Security support teams will be working with you to ensure a seamless transition.

Please disregard this message if you:

Do not use Data Identifiers in your CASB policy
Use Skyhigh’s Reverse Proxy solution
Are using Skyhigh Security’s Gov cloud environment

Legacy Cloud Proxy Domain Retirement | August 31, 2024

Skyhigh Security will be retiring a legacy cloud proxy domain “mcafee-cloud.com”.

Please review your client proxy policy and browser settings to replace “mcafee-cloud.com” proxy domain with “skyhigh.cloud”.
Failure to upgrade to 11.2.16 or later by August 31, 2024 will result in significant impact on functionality.

SWG 11.x End-of-Life Reminder | September 30, 2024

Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (SWG) on-premise versions 11.x will reach End-Of-Life by the end of 2024. Customers must upgrade to 12.2.2 or later to continue using Skyhigh SWG. EOL dates are as follows:

11.0.x - 11.2.15 : End of Life on Sep 30, 2024
11.2.16+ : End of Life on Dec 31, 2024
