Skyhigh Security 6.6.1 Release | April 2nd-April 25th

We’re excited to announce the upcoming Skyhigh Release of 6.6.1. These enhancements will be released to our cloud customers April 2nd- April 9th and released to our infrastructure April 18th - April 25th.

Skyhigh Security Client Proxy (SCP) | March 12, 2024

Client Proxy 4.9.0 is now available.

As a reminder, from this release onwards we will not be supporting the 32-bit operating systems. Please contact support if you have any questions and see below for more details.

Maintenance

Skyhigh Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) | US Only | March 16, 2024

Planned maintenance is scheduled to update a core piece of infrastructure within our solution to optimize the performance and increase the speed of the data processing mechanism during the following time duration:

Anticipated Start: March 16, 2024 (Saturday), 3:30 am UTC

Anticipated End: March 16, 2024 (Saturday), 12:30 pm UTC

Service Impact:

Data processing will be paused during the upgrade window which will result in delaying the availability of activities/events on the Skyhigh Dashboard.
All the config audit scans in progress will be terminated and no scheduled scans will run during the maintenance window. Once the maintenance window completes the next scheduled scans will process the changes done during the maintenance window. For continuous evaluation flows, we strongly recommend running an ODS scan once the maintenance window completes to track any changes to IaaS resources.

We don't expect any data loss or impact to DLP controls. Please contact Skyhigh Security Support if you have any questions or issues.

End-of-Life & End-of-Support Notices

Legacy Cloud Proxy Domain Retirement | August 31, 2024

Skyhigh Security will be retiring a legacy cloud proxy domain “mcafee-cloud.com”.

Please review your client proxy policy and browser settings to replace “mcafee-cloud.com” proxy domain with “skyhigh.cloud”.
Failure to update by August 31, 2024 will result in significant impact on functionality. See the link below, for Instructions on how to update the legacy proxy domain name.

SWG 11.x End-of-Life Reminder | September 30, 2024

Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (SWG) on-premise versions 11.x will reach End-Of-Life by the end of 2024. Customers must upgrade to 12.2.2 or later to continue using Skyhigh SWG. EOL dates are as follows:

11.0.x - 11.2.15 : End of Life on Sep 30, 2024
11.2.16+ : End of Life on Dec 31, 2024
