Install and Upgrade Considerations

The tasks to install and upgrade the Client Proxy software are the same. The details depend on the management platform you are using.

  • Trellix ePO — From the Trellix ePO interface, you install, upgrade, and manage the Client Proxy software on a Trellix ePO server deployed on your organization's network.
  • Trellix ePO Cloud or Trellix ePO — A team of Skyhigh Security security experts installs and upgrades the Client Proxy software on a Trellix ePO Cloud or Trellix ePO server. You manage the software from the Trellix ePO Cloud or Trellix ePO interface.

NOTE: We do not support the automatic upgrade of a pre-release software version. To upgrade to a production release of the software, you must first uninstall the pre-release version.
