Source IP Anchoring Using Skyhigh Private Access
By utilizing the public IP addresses of your own network, you can leverage Skyhigh Private Access's Source IP Anchoring capabilities to securely access third-party resources such as Internet and SaaS applications defined as Private apps, which enforce source IP restrictions. Source IP anchoring acts as a security feature that secures traffic and preserves the source IP address without incurring additional costs.
You can enable access to private and public applications using public IP addresses by defining them as Private Access applications. When you do so, all requests are routed through the Secure App Connector, ensuring traffic exits from your network and egresses with the public IPs, allowing full control and monitoring.
NOTE: All the applications defined as Private Applications in Skyhigh Private Access will be treated as Private and routed via the Secure App Connector.
IMPORTANT: To allow access to your application based on source IP (Secure App connector IP) create the application as a private app. For more details on creating private applications, see Add Applications.
