Skyhigh Hands-on Workshops

We are excited to announce three specialized hands-on workshops designed to empower you with practical skills and knowledge to enhance your security posture. These sessions are tailored to address key areas in today's evolving security landscape.

1. SSE Virtual Hands-On Workshop

Join Skyhigh Security for our interactive Security Service Edge Hands-On Workshops - created specifically for technology specialists and customers with existing experience in our Web Gateway solution to get to know our cloud-based SSE solution through a unique experience.

In this three-hour workshop, you will learn the following technologies in your own provisioned account under the guidance of Skyhigh System Engineers, and will be able to try out the following solutions and capabilities:

Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
Configure web policies from the cloud.

Cloud Application Control (CASB)
Control access to and activities in cloud services from a comprehensive cloud registry.

Remote Browser Isolation (RBI)
Allow access to unknown or potentially dangerous websites without exposing your client to malicious code.

Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Prevent improper storage and/or transmission of sensitive information.

Private Access (ZTNA)
Allow secure access to internal corporate resources without the need for a VPN client.

Why Security Service Edge?
Security Service Edge (SSE) enables your workforce and protects your data across web, cloud, email, and private apps. Capabilities include access control, threat protection, data security, security monitoring, and acceptable-use control enforced by network-based and API-based integration. SSE is primarily delivered as a cloud-based service and may include on-premises or agent-based components.

2. Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Hands-On Workshop

Join Skyhigh Security for our exclusive DLP Hands-On Workshop, designed for technology specialists and seasoned customers. This workshop is an engaging blend of theoretical insights and practical application, set against a compelling real-world scenario.

Workshop Scenario:

In this interactive session, you will step into the shoes of an IT security professional at a university hospital. A dismissed database administrator has hinted at leaking sensitive data online. Your mission is to uncover and secure this data hidden within publicly accessible Amazon S3 buckets, starting with a fictitious dataset of medical research data. This high-stakes scenario will challenge you to apply your skills in real time to prevent a potential data breach.

Learning Objectives:

  • Master Regular Expressions: Understand the power of regular expressions for pattern matching in security policies.
  • Utilize Classification Systems: Leverage Skyhigh's built-in classification system to efficiently identify and protect sensitive data.
  • Implement Advanced Strategies: Explore Enhanced Data Matching (EDM) and Indexed Document Matching (IDM) to detect and secure critical information with minimal false positives.

3. SWG Hybrid Hands-On Workshop

Join Skyhigh Security for our exclusive SWG-Hybrid Hands-On Workshop, designed for technology specialists and seasoned customers with experience on Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway appliance. This workshop guides you through a sequence of use cases on your journey from a traditional SWG appliance to a hybrid SWG deployment before (eventually) embracing a true Security Service Edge (SSE) solution.

Workshop Scenario:

In this interactive session, you will enable Remote Browser Isolation capabilities for your on-premise users, learn how to implement a true appliance-cloud hybrid solution for roaming users, extend traditional web filtering with advanced application & application activity controls in your new hybrid environment, and add cloud application discovery for visibility and risk assessment.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how Skyhigh supports a smooth migration from SWG on-premise to hybrid to cloud
  • Learn how Skyhigh SSE capabilities can be leveraged with existing SWG appliance deployments
  • Run through typical migration scenarios adding value to your existing Skyhigh web security

This hands-on experience will equip you with the knowledge and tools that enable you to migrate to a modern SWG architecture.

Skyhigh SWG (Secure Web Gateway)

Introduction to Skyhigh SWG Deployment Options - A high-level overview of the evolution path from SWG On-Prem to Cloud (Hybrid deployment).

Skyhigh RBI (Remote Browser Isolation)

You will use a Skyhigh SWG client and Skyhigh cloud live to isolate clients from risky web content, secure web access in the cloud, and gain visibility and manage risk on cloud applications.
