New Releases

Skyhigh Security 6.5.2 Release | January 30, 2024

Here are some highlights of this release:

CASB:

AI Sub-Categories on Cloud Registry for Shadow IT users- Shadow IT users can use the AI-powered sub-categories on Cloud Registry to categorize sensitive data based on specific requirements.
Dashboard Card for Sanctioned Services- A default dashboard card in Skyhigh CASB provides real-time insights into unsecured sanctioned cloud services, enabling users to assess and manage potential security risks.

DLP:

Download Web Evidence files via the Policy Incidents Page- Web evidence files can be downloaded for DLP incidents individually from the Shadow/Web DLP Policy Incident Cloud Card. These files provide match highlights of the violated DLP incident details.

Maintenance

Skyhigh CASB | Re-enable API for Microsoft Exchange Online | Action Required by March 31, 2023

Microsoft Exchange Online users must migrate to ‘Graph API’, which requires you to set additional permissions for Microsoft Graph API within your Skyhigh CASB.
Action Needed: Re-enable the API instances for email in your Skyhigh dashboard and grant the required permission for the Skyhigh application. If you have already completed this, no further action is required.
Microsoft is decommissioning the old APIs by March 31, 2024. Failure to re-enable API instances before that result in On-Demand Scanning and some response actions not working as expected. For detailed step by step instructions, please visit the link below.

Skyhigh Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)| February 16-17, 2023

Planned maintenance is scheduled to update the core software of our products (backend activity) to optimize the performance and increase the speed of the data processing mechanism.

When: February 16, 2024 (Friday), 11:00 PM UTC- February 17, 2024 (Saturday), 05:00 AM UTC
Downtime: None
Service Impact:
- Data processing will be paused during the upgrade window which will result in delaying the availability of activities/events on the Skyhigh dashboard.
- Config audit scans in progress will be terminated and no scheduled scans will run during the maintenance window. Once the maintenance window completes the next scheduled scans will process the changes done during the maintenance window.

Secure Web Gateway Cloud | IP Updates & Clean Up | March 01, 2024

Skyhigh Security has recently performed updates and cleanup of cloud IP address ranges.
Action needed by March 01, 2024: Check and update your firewall and business to business services allow list.
Review the list below and make necessary changes on internal network infrastructure.

End-of-Life Notices

SWG 11.x End-of-Life Reminder | September 30, 2024

Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (SWG) on premise versions 11.x will reach End-Of-Life by the end of 2024. Customers must upgrade to 12.2.2 or later to continue using Skyhigh SWG. EOL dates are as follows:

11.0.x - 11.2.15 : End of Life on Sep 30, 2024
11.2.16+ : End of Life on Dec 31, 2024
