SWG Upgrade Checklist
Use the checklist below to verify the SWG appliance upgrade. Check that all nodes run the correct version, are synchronized, and handle traffic as expected to confirm a successful and stable upgrade.
IMPORTANT: Once the upgrade is completed, ensure you reboot the appliance.
Verify Configuration Synchronization and Appliance Version
To verify the appliance version for each node, navigate to Configuration > Appliances. Ensure all nodes are running the same configuration and version. For more details, see Verify the Synchronization of Nodes.
Verify traffic distribution
Open the Dashboard and confirm that traffic is distributed across all upgraded nodes.
Check load balancer statistics
Review the load balancer stats to confirm proper traffic handling.
Verify ProxyHA status (only for environments using ProxyHA)
To confirm the active/redundant director or scanning-only node status of the appliance, navigate to Troubleshooting > Select Appliance > Network Tools, type all in the Command line parameters field, and click hastats.
