Edit API Keys
You can edit API Keys to update details, modify assigned roles, or set expiration alerts.
Complete the following to edit an API key:
- Go to Settings > User Management > API Keys.
- Select the API key you want to edit from the list.
- Click Actions > Edit.
- On the Edit API Key page, modify the following fields:
- Name. Edit the name for the API key.
- Description. Edit the description for the API key.
- Expiration. Edit the expiration date for the API key.
- In the Notify by email when a key is nearing expiration section, turn on the toggle to receive alerts before the key expires.
- Destination email Addresses. Enter the destination email address to receive alerts before the key expires.
- Time before expiration to send Email. Select the time to send alerts before the key expires.
- Frequency of notification. Select how far in advance the system should send alerts before the key expires.
- In the Roles section, review the assigned roles and modify as needed:
- Administrator. You can assign or remove the Administrator role as required. For each selected role, update the corresponding child roles in the right panel and enable the appropriate permissions (Read and Write) using the toggle.
- Policy Management. You can assign or remove the Policy Management role as required. For each selected role, update the corresponding child roles in the right panel and enable the appropriate permissions (Read and Write) using the toggle.
- Usage Analytics Users. You can assign or remove the Usage Analytics users role as required. For each selected role, update the corresponding child roles in the right panel and enable the appropriate permissions (Read and Write) using the toggle.
- Click Save.
