About This Release
The v4.1.0 Mobile Client release introduces new feature enhancements for Android and iOS devices to improve VPN stability, flexibility, and administrative control. Enhancements
The following enhancements in the v4.1.0 release improve VPN stability, user experience, and administrative control.
Enhance VPN Stability via IPsec Solution (Android only)
Skyhigh integrates a new IPsec solution into the VPN framework to improve IPsec connectivity, enhance performance, and ensure compatibility with enterprise VPN standards. The integration now uses minimal OPG and P12 certificate files to establish secure VPN connections more efficiently.
Control VPN Disconnect Option via MDM (Android only)
Admins can now manage the VPN Disconnect option directly through MDM. The option appears in the Settings screen and can be enabled or disabled to control VPN behavior dynamically. For more details on how to enable the disconnect vpn via MDM, see Enable Disconnect VPN for Android Devices.
Enable Minimal OPG Access on PA Applications Screen (Android only)
Skyhigh adds a minimal On-Premises Gateway (OPG) access option to the PA Applications screen, allowing users to securely access enterprise applications when required. To configure minimal OPG access via MDM, see Enable Minimal OPG Access for PA Applications on Android Devices.
Add P12 Certificate Support for IPsec Connections (Android only)
Users can now import P12 certificate files to configure IPsec connections, enhancing authentication security and flexibility. Admins can also deploy these certificates through MDM. For more details, see Create PKCS, Root CA, and Customer Root Certificate using Intune (MDM).
Change Profile via UI Settings (Android only)
Skyhigh introduces a Change Profile option that lets users switch between configured profiles directly from the settings. The change applies instantly, without restarting the app.
Enable Factory Reset Option via MDM (Android and iOS)
You can now enable Factory Reset using an app configuration policy for managed Android and iOS devices. This provides admins with greater control and flexibility in managing device configurations through MDM solutions.
